This map allows us to envision a world of the Cyberpunk Aesthetic and imagine what it might look like in the future. I took inspiration from the Sci-Fi genre, but specifically movies, such as Gattaca (1997) and Blade Runner (1982). I have a particular affinity towards this genre and this map has allowed me to sharpen my research skills, with datasets that I thought might be interesting and related, as well as get creative with trying determining colors. This map challenged my cartographic skills because many colors often seen in Sci-Fi movies are not color blind accessible.
